According to a report on Nov. 21 by CBS Boston, a husky was found chained to a fence near the city’s dog park. The adult male dog was found with a sign reading “free” on a Thursday morning earlier in November with a box of dog food close by.
Police confirmed on Nov. 24 that the report was “made up,” according to an update by WMUR-TV.
“WMUR-TV reports a juvenile bought the dog and fabricated a story last week that would help convince her parents to keep the dog. The dog has been given to a foster family, which is working with the original owner to find a permanent home.”
